Who we are
Life Skills Community CIC (LSC CIC), CIC Number 17164034, is the data controller for information you provide when applying for opportunities, including roles within Girls Life Club Project.
What we collect
Your name, contact details, town/city, professional information, qualifications, experience, answers to application questions, availability, right-to-work and DBS status answers, and your CV.
How we use it
We use your information only to assess your application, communicate with you about it, and carry out safer-recruitment checks if you progress.
Lawful basis
We process your information to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement, and for our legitimate interest in recruiting safely. Safeguarding checks are carried out where legally required.
Who can access it
Only authorised LSC CIC administrators involved in recruitment. Your CV is stored securely and is not publicly accessible. We do not sell or share your information for marketing.
How long we keep it
Unsuccessful applications are kept for up to 6 months after the recruitment decision, then securely deleted. Successful applicants' information forms part of their records.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or withdraw your application at any time, by emailing hello@lifeskillscommunity.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
